Peel Thunder are one step closer to the WAFL grand final after a thrilling 10-point win over Subiaco at Leederville Oval at the weekend.
Things weren't looking good at half time with the Lions leading by 28-points.
But Peel soon clawed their way back with six unanswered goals, taking the lead in the final term and eventually winning 12.12 (84) to 10.14 (74).
Will Brodie and Blair Bell were instrumental with 28 and 24 disposals respectively, while Jack Sears kicked a career-high four goals.
"Blair Bell was just enormous in that third quarter, no wonder he has a bad back because he really did carry us there," coach Geoff Valentine said.
Valentine said although they were a little shaky to start off with, he was impressed with their comeback in the second half.
"The boys have shown a real capacity to dig their way out of games like that," he said.
"I wasn't confident at half time but I still had a belief we were in the game and we could keep going and thankfully that's how it turned out in the third quarter once we got some momentum."
Several fans turned out to the match including big Fremantle names like Alex Pearce, Andrew Brayshaw and Caleb Serong and coach Justin Longmuir.
"We had great support on the weekend...whether that was the Peel people catching the train up or the Freo boys getting down there...everyone is right behind us."
The Thunder will now take on minor premiers East Fremantle on Saturday, September 9 in a semi final.
