The Peel Thunder women have secured their first win of the 2024 WAFL season.
After 11 rounds, the Thunder defeated East Perth by 19-points on Sunday.
Coach Ethan Norris said it was well deserved.
"The mood was pretty ecstatic after the game," he said.
"Every single person on the field performed.
"It's reward for effort...it's week 25 for us with pre-season and the games and finally we've got the reward we've been looking for."
Peel next take on East Fremantle in round 12 on Saturday, May 18 at Lane Group Stadium.
Norris admits it won't be an easy match-up taking on the second-placed Sharks.
"East Fremantle is another big challenge, last year's premiers and probably on their wing they've got the number one draft pick for this year," he said.
"The message this week is we can do it, we've proven that we can actually put a solid game together."
